Terms of Use for CodeZipper

Publisher: Technocrux Last updated: 17 September 2026

Licence

CodeZipper is licensed, not sold, for personal and business use on Windows devices you own or control, under the Microsoft Store terms. The app is a one-time purchase with a 7-day trial. The Stack Pack, AI Export, Security and Cloud Backup add-ons, and the Everything bundle, are one-time durable purchases through the Microsoft Store. Owning the bundle counts as owning every add-on.

Your code

CodeZipper reads the folder you point it at and writes archives, exports and backups where you tell it to. You are responsible for the files you archive and for holding the rights to share them. Because everything runs on your device, Technocrux never sees your code and cannot recover an archive for you.

Secret detection

The secret check looks for common patterns such as API keys, tokens, private keys and passwords. It is a safety net, not a guarantee: it can miss a secret and it can flag something harmless. Review what you are about to share before you share it.

Third-party software and services

RAR archives are created by your own installation of WinRAR, under its licence. Cloud Backup uploads to storage accounts you provide credentials for, and the terms and privacy policy of that storage provider apply to whatever you keep there.
