By installing or using Meetio you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the app.
1. Who you are contracting with
Meetio is published by Technocrux ("we", "us"). These terms are between you and Technocrux.
Your purchase, however, is with Microsoft. Subscriptions are sold, billed and refunded by the Microsoft Store under the Microsoft Store Terms of Sale, and the Microsoft Standard Application License Terms also apply to your use of this app. Where those terms conflict with these on a matter of sale or refund, Microsoft's terms govern.
2. Your account
You need a Meetio account, provided through our Flyo authentication service, to use the app.
- Give an accurate email address you control. Password resets go there.
- Disposable and throwaway email domains are blocked at sign-up.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- One account is for one person. Do not share credentials.
- Tell us at alisufyanbutt@live.com if you think your account has been accessed by someone else.
We may suspend or close an account that is used to break these terms or the law.
3. Free trial
New accounts get a 7-day free trial with no payment method required.
- The trial starts at your first sign-in.
- During the trial, Meetio processes meetings of up to 30 minutes each, with no limit on how many.
- The trial is anchored to your account and mirrored on your device. Reinstalling the app, switching PCs or changing your system clock will not restart it. One trial per account.
- When the trial ends, meetings you have already processed stay on your PC and stay readable. New recordings cannot be processed until you subscribe.

- Pro renews monthly and is charged to the payment method on your Microsoft account until you cancel.
- Cancel any time from Microsoft Store → Settings → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not pro-rate part months.
- The price shown in the app is the Store's localised price for your market. It will differ from $2.99 outside the United States, and includes tax where the Store charges it.
- We may change the price. Existing subscribers will be told before a change takes effect at their next renewal, and may cancel instead.
Refunds are handled by Microsoft under the Microsoft Store Terms of Sale. We cannot issue them. Contact Microsoft Support.
5. The 30-minute and 3-hour limits
These are limits on the length of one meeting, not on how many you process.
The app enforces them before it starts work, and stops a live recording when the cap is reached, so that no effort is spent on a result you would not be allowed to keep. A recording longer than your limit can still be split and imported in parts.
6. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Meetio on devices you control, for as long as you comply with these terms.
You may not: reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app except where law forbids that restriction; remove or alter any notices; rent, lease, lend, resell or sublicense it; or use it to build a competing product.
Meetio, its name and its artwork remain the property of Technocrux. Your meetings, recordings, transcripts and summaries remain entirely yours. We claim no rights over them and, because they never leave your device, we have no access to them.
7. Third-party components
Meetio includes open-source components used under their own licences, including Whisper (via Whisper.net), ONNX Runtime, sherpa-onnx and NAudio. AI models are downloaded from their publishers and used under their respective model licences. Those licences prevail over these terms for the components they cover.
8. Your responsibilities when recording
Recording other people may require their consent. In many jurisdictions all parties must be told, or must agree, before a call is recorded. You are solely responsible for having the legal basis to record any meeting you capture with Meetio, and for how you use the results.
Do not use Meetio to record unlawfully, to harass or surveil anyone, or in breach of any confidentiality obligation you owe.
9. AI output is not guaranteed to be correct
Transcripts, speaker labels, summaries, action items and draft emails are produced by machine learning models. They will sometimes be wrong, mishearing words, attributing a sentence to the wrong speaker, or missing something that mattered.
Meetio is a drafting aid, not a record of fact. Check the output before you rely on it, and particularly before you send it to anyone or use it for a legal, financial, medical, employment or contractual purpose. We are not liable for decisions taken on unverified output.
10. Availability and changes
We may add, change or remove features, and may end support for the app. If we discontinue Meetio we will give reasonable notice and will not charge a renewal after that notice. The app is designed to work offline, so existing meetings remain readable on your PC.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes with a revised date above.
11. Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meetio is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, that transcription will reach any particular accuracy, or that it will run on any specific hardware.
Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under the law where you live.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Technocrux is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost business, or lost or corrupted data.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to Meetio is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 20.
13. Data
How we handle your data is set out in the Privacy Policy (PRIVACY.md),
which forms part of these terms. In short: your meeting content stays on your PC;
we hold only your account record.
14. Termination
You may stop using Meetio at any time by uninstalling it, and may delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete account. Cancel any active subscription separately through the Microsoft Store, deleting your Meetio account does not cancel Store billing.
We may terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms.
Sections 6, 9, 11, 12 and 15 survive termination.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your country of residence.
